This book addresses a basic requirement of life, that is, a friend. Irrespective of being a kid or an adult, or being someone who is different from others, 'Everyone needs a friend'.

This story is of a skunk named 'Rose', who recently changed her home in the forest. Rose liked singing and humming but still she was disliked by other animals because of her unpleasant aroma. Many a times she tried to play and make friends with others but everyone ignored her and made a distance from her because of the aroma. She started feeling sad and missed her old friends and family.

It was one fine day when Rose took a shelter in a cave to save herself from rain. In the cave she sang very beautifully and when she opened her eyes she found everyone gathered there. They applauded her singing and admired her and everyone became friends with her.

This picture book emphasis on teaching the kids the essence of friendship and that the presence of friend is very important in our life. Every child must be taught the virtue of friendship and this book will effectively help in teaching this to the kids!
