The Coven: The Transformation (Book 2 of the Coven Series) by Ashlynn Stone
Your whole life you've been a simple human being, living a life that is not perfect but you love your job and family and you're happy, but one day you fall in love with someone and now will have to leave behind your life and never meet your family again. What will you do? And yes, if you don't agree you'll be killed.
Alex(James' father) has offered Aurora the similar agreement if she accepts to turn into a Tacitus she is allowed to stay with her family for two years on a condition that she keeps him updated on the Vampire Killer Case so that he can protect his Coven. Aurora didn't had any choice other than accepting it. Now she is torn between leaving her family behind and feeling guilty for not being honest with her job of protecting people and serving justice being a police officer.
The day before her marriage she suffers a loss of someone really close to her and the way of Killing shows that the killer is someone from the Tacitus Coven. If it is that a Tacitus killed that person why so or it is someone else, a copycat who is just trying to take revenge from Aurora as the killer also leaves a message for her.
The second book successfully continues the story and this it is more intriguing, we get to know more about the Tacitus Coven and their traditions. The characters by the end of the book will feel like they are a part of your life and you will go on a emotional roller coaster with Aurora.
The second book is as good as its first part and is definitely a good read. If you haven't started the series yet start it because you don't want to miss on such a great series, great story filled with thriller, emotions and fantasy and romance.
