Once there was me by Bobby Sachdeva

Book - Once there was me 📓
Author- Bobby Sachdeva
"Once there was me" is a heart touching semi autobiography by Bobby Sachdeva.
This book narrates the incident happened in 1984 right after the assassination of our late prime minister Mrs. Indira Gandhi on 31st October 1984 by her sikh guard. Rioting and retaliatory killing of sikhs started right after that in Delhi by blood thirsty mobs.
The starting of the book itself had a goosebump moment. By god's grace I had never faced a situation like that but I can't even imagine a 14 year old and his father went through such a traumatic situation. I am so saddened how much people during partition and such riots might have went through.
This book has told me so much about what people in my own country went through, how they suffered because of all this and how religious riots have always been a thing in
India.
This book talks about a lot which had a great impact on our country. This Book contains many real life events.
🔺The Main Story Line Of Book Is about a person who had suffered from the partition and faced many challenges due to this.
The writing pattern of the author gave the perfect picture of riots an hardships faced by many families at that time.
Overall I indeed enjoyed reading this and surely recommend you all to read 💕
